2022-2023 . An exploration about the beauty of the ordinary
This project explored fast decorating techniques in ceramics, inspired by Mexican and Japanese folk crafts. This techiques were born out of the necessity of fast producing craft ceramics for ordinary people at low costs. The research consisted of identifying and transferring the decorations to the studio materials and typology of objects. After the exploration, three techniques were chosen and three tableware collections were created.
It was created with the Young Creators scholarship from the System of Support for Creation and Cultural Projects formerly FONCA, from the Ministry of Culture of Mexico.
